Ivory and Brick Red Tribal Bakshayesh Rug. 131 x 189 in.

Beautiful tribal Bakhshayesh rug — a superb example of Northwest Persian village weaving, characterized by its rich tribal spontaneity and archetypal design language. The field is a creamy ivory, setting a bold stage for large, stylized palmettes and geometric floral motifs arranged in a loose but harmonious lattice. The interplay of soft blues, terracotta, rust, and sage green. The border features a classic serrated leaf and rosette pattern, framed by subtle guard stripes.
