The design is arranged in vertical rows, with the palmettes alternating in tone from terracotta to sage green and deep indigo,. The background is a warm ivory tone filled with stylized floral motifs and small botanical figures scattered throughout, . A broad red border frames the composition, featuring a series of large rosettes and palmettes linked by scrolling vines. Multiple guard borders add fine detail and definition to the edges.
