Sultanabad rug with a repeating allover lattice formed by elegant palmettes connected by angular vinery and rosettes. The design is arranged in vertical rows, with the palmettes alternating in tone from terracotta to sage green and deep indigo,. The background is a warm ivory tone filled with stylized floral motifs and small botanical figures scattered throughout, . A broad red border frames the composition, featuring a series of large rosettes and palmettes linked by scrolling vines. Multiple guard borders add fine detail and definition to the edges.
