The field—woven in lustrous, undyed camel hair—displays a striking lattice of stepped medallions and diamond motifs, rendered in sky blue, brick red, ivory, and ochre. The border system is equally commanding: a robust primary band of floral rosettes on a turquoise ground is framed by finely drawn minor borders with crimson accents, Camelhair rugs from Bakhshayesh are especially prized for their earthy warmth and textural richness.
